Marvel Legacy: 9 Biggest Changes It Will Bring
5. A Possible Fantastic Four Reunion
Marvel Two-In-One is a tradition dating back to the 1970s, a Thing-centric spinoff which teamed the rockhard hero up with a different guest star each issue.
It's back with a new number #1 as part of Marvel Legacy, to tell a story dubbed ‘The Fate of the Four’, and the protagonist's hot-headed teammate Human Torch is his wingman this time around.
The Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic have been missing in action since the Fantastic Four was disbanded during Marvel's last major continuity shakeup, with Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm assigned to other titles.
The Thing became a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy, while Human Torch burnt up the pages of Uncanny Avengers and Uncanny Inhumans.
At last, it looks as though we're finally getting some answers about Sue and Reed's whereabouts, since the story title suggests the other half of the team will embark on a mission to track them down.
Given that Marvel Legacy is about pushing the publisher's classic heroes back under the spotlight, this comic could pave the way for a full Fantastic Four reunion.
Marvel has only announced 52 out of its 53 Legacy titles, after all.
