The Watchmen prequels project consists of four mini series runs set before the legendary 1984 Alan Moore created graphic novel.

Bleeding Cool delivered a significant Christmas present last week to comic book fans by posting two new pieces of cover art from the upcoming Watchmen prequels (referred to as 'Panic Room' around the DC Comics offices). Though it really has to be said it depends on your views on the project as to whether this is actually a wanted present or not. The Watchmen prequels project consists of four mini series runs set before the legendary 1984 Alan Moore created graphic novel. We know the first two series will be about The Comedian and Nite Owl, but not much is known about the other two. DC are expected to release more about the project in the new year.
