10 21st Century Horror Movies That Are So Bad They're Good
1. Anaconda's: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid (2004)
Out of the four (yes, four) Anaconda films that were made in this series, the second standalone film The Hunt for the Blood Orchid makes it on to the list. In the middle of the Borneo jungle, a group of explorers begin their mission to find the rare flower the blood orchid, unaware that the plant is protected by giant anacondas - it’s one hell of an original concept.
Once you get past the slightly dodgy CG in this film, the narrative is watchable and the characters – although poorly acted at times – all have their own invested storylines, with a limited cast to work with.
Credit is due to the pet monkey who is the best character of the team, going off on his own adventures and comes close to being eaten by the giant snakes a multitude of times.
Give this a watch for the pure comedy value, although there are a few jump scares later on and the third act of the film is the best part once it becomes clear there's more than one monster.
