10 80s Movie Girlfriends Who Were Way Better Than Yours

4. Lana - Risky Business

Riskey Business Does this technically count? Alright, I know that she was a prostitute, but come on. She's top ten material for sure. Even I had a crush on Rebecca De Mornay in this film. So I'm going to make a judgement call and say that hell yes, she was probably one of the biggest dream girlfriends of the 80s. She teaches Tom Cruise how to be confident and that it's ok to let loose once in a while. She's totally comfortable with her sexuality, but she's also got a vulnerability which prevents her from being just a one note hooker stereotype. I love the chemistry between the two main characters, and how they both grow throughout the film. She seems like an awesome chick, and you'd be beyond lucky to have her for a girlfriend.
