There can be no doubt how iconic and influential Jurassic Park has been since its release over 30 years ago, but as excellent as Steven Spielberg's picture is, it is certainly not without its flaws. One such gripe being the enclosure of the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

In one of most memorable scenes in a film stuffed with memorable scenes, the T-Rex can be seen ominously retracting its claw from the now dead electric fence, before bursting through the paddock boundary to confront the likes of Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern). Then a giant cliff seems to appear from absolutely nowhere.

As the Rex attacked the cars of Jurassic Park's guests, Alan and the children's vehicle got knocked over the side of the cliff, with the task of getting down to the ground safely proving almost deadly. However, the sheer drop appeared to be exactly where the perfectly flat enclosure was just minutes before, leading to confusion as to the exact landscape of Isla Nublar.

Reportedly, the original script for the movie detailed that the car was dragged several meters before being pushed over the cliff, meaning that the two moments took place at different locations. However, within the walls of the final cut, this is not shown or explained, leaving a huge question mark dangling over the scene.
