10 Absurd Movie Deaths That A Normal Person Could Have Avoided

5. Robert Neville (Will Smith) €“ I Am Legend (2007)

http://youtu.be/6mjGH2YHtjk Cause of Death: Pointless self-sacrifice In the climax of I Am Legend, Robert Neville, after successfully engineering a cure for the disease that temporarily ended the World, decides he actually can€™t be bothered any more. Facing down a sea of CGI zombies (or is it vampires?) he decides introduce them to a grenade that he conveniently has to hand, while ushering his two fellow survivors into a sturdy wall furnace where they€™ll be safe from the blast. But wait, surely that furnace is big enough to hold at least two more people. How To Survive It: Pull the pin, jump into the wall furnace, close the door. Et voila. You€™ve survived and you€™ve killed all of your attackers and as a bonus, you€™ll probably get laid afterwards at some point. What, was Neville just a bit claustrophobic? Let€™s be honest, when death is the alternative, we€™re a pretty resourceful species. For the sake of maybe an extra thirty seconds arranging everyone so they could fit, humanity could still have had its cure and it€™s legendary saviour.
