9. "Not Into Space, But Into The The Space Between Spaces..." - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
And to think, before I saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I thought that David Koepp was a great screenwriter. But there's no excuse for a line as p*ss poor as "Not into space, but into the space between spaces," which is what John Hurt's confused Professor Oxley decides to say when he finally stops being retarded at the end of the movie. The line is supposed to signify just how far away the aliens at the centre of this movie's awful plot exist away from Earth - inter-dimensional bulls*it or parallel universes or whatever. But basically it's one of those lines that acts as a kind of lame excuse when a screenwriter has no idea how to explain something.
