Riz Ahmed is a wonderfully diverse young actor, though probably not the first choice you'd defer to for playing a grunge metal drummer forced to reconsider his career as he begins to lose his hearing.
After all, Ahmed is a critically acclaimed rapper in addition to being an actor, an aspect of his personality and lifestyle he's even incorporated into many of his movie roles.
Yet given the wide cultural gulf between the two music genres, the metal scene is hardly a space you'd expect to see Ahmed hanging out - let alone for a movie while covered in tattoos and sporting bleach blonde hair.
