9. Shia LaBeouf
It's been a tough few years for once-celebrated child actor Shia LaBeouf. Allegations concerning DUI, drag racing and plagiarism have meant his personal life tends to receive more attention than his movies. Shia made the headlines again in January this year for the wrong reasons when he was arrested at an Anti Trump art installation in New York for allegedly assaulting a man.
Of course this is not the first time Shia's been arrested and when he was back in 2008, he also happened to be in the middle of filming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He was arrested this time on suspicion of drink driving after his car collided with another at an intersection when he was attempting to turn left.
Sgt Scott Wolf, of the Los Angeles County Sheriff said, "It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest," however due to a lack of evidence, no criminal charges came of the incident.
The accident left the actor in hospital after his left hand was crushed, meaning that he missed a month of filming. Co-star Isabel Lucas, who Shia has since admitted to having a fling with, was in the car at the time but only suffered minor injuries.
