Riz Ahmed would be the first ever Muslim James Bond, and in addition to being a diverse casting choice, he's also one hell of an actor, having scooped an Emmy for his blinding performance in The Night Of.

His haunting, simmering intensity and stoic gaze make him an easy fit for a Bond to follow-up Craig's tortured interpretation of the character. He's also a good age and isn't famous enough that producers could be deterred.

However, he's also rather slight physically and at just 5 feet, 8 inches in height, he'd be the shortest Bond by a huge measure. The gym can certainly bulk him up, but his height is definitely a mark against him.
