Done To Death: Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford is responsible for some of the greatest film heroes ever captured on screen, from Indy to Han Solo to Jack Ryan to Blade Runner's Deckard, and he's never really slowed down, even if the quality of his recent films has been somewhat lacking. There's a good reason Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull was far and away the weakest entry in the franchise, and it wasn't just the silly premise. But Ford apparently wants more Indy, and the fifth instalment is already gathering steam. Additionally, Ford will appear in Expendables 3, which almost feels like validation for anyone pointing an accusing finger at his inability to let go of his characters of the past. And then, of course he will be bringing Han Solo back in Star Wars Episode VII, while rumours of a Blade Runner sequel continue to swirl. Perhaps with the exception of Star Wars - which needs a high note after the prequel trilogy - all of these projects feel a lot more like money-grabs than actual attempts at original art, and the over-riding feeling is that all will feel a little tragic.
