1. Sterling K. Brown - J’onn J’onzz/ Martian Manhunter

Before 2016, not many people would have heard of Sterling K. Brown before his award-winning performance in The People vs O.J Simpson as assistant prosecutor Chris Darden. Since then he has gone on to enjoy heightened fame with roles in The Predator, Hotel Artemis, Black Panther, to name just a few of the projects he’s worked on in the last few years.

J’onn J'onzz is known in the comics for being one of the most level headed and sage members of the Justice League, with even Batman having a hard time beating him in an argument on occasion. His powers and knowledge of other space races have also been invaluable in helping the Justice League overcome extraterrestrial threats when they cannot rely on the muscle of characters like Superman and Wonder Woman for example.

SKB would be an ideal choice for capturing the Manhunter’s stoicism as well as his ferocity in a fight, and SKB certainly has a powerful voice to capture the Manhunter’s signature imposing tones as we’ve seen through previous animated additions, and on the CW’s Supergirl series. The Manhunter has been seen as a bit more of a supporting player in recent years in DC properties but SKB could certainly be the man character to put the martian in the spotlight.
