2. Vin Diesel - Lobo

Vin Diesel, whether you love him or hate him, has ironed out quite the career for himself, playing Riddick, alpha-male Dominic Toretto, or lending his considerable voice talents to working on the beloved Iron Giant, and in the MCU as the multiple forms of everyone's favourite walking-tree, Groot.

So when one considers a character who someone with all of Diesel’s credentials could play, a booming, brawling, bad-ass, speed freak, there really is only one option that springs to mind, and that’s the main man himself, Lobo. Lobo is an inter-galactic bounty-hunter on steroids (sometimes literally). He’s what would happen if you crossed Boba Fett with Ron Perlman, the Hound, and an entire chapter of Hell’s Angels. Diesel is a standout choice for the role as you need someone with a healthy amount of swagger and physicality to take on the part of Lobo.

There were plans in the mix for an R-rated adaptation of a Lobo film following the success of Marvel’s recent ventures into that territory. But with the word on that stalling, Lobo would make a formidable opponent for either Superman, Shazam, whoever ends up playing the Green Lantern, or even the entire friggin Justice League as he’s just that dam strong. I'm sure Diesel would also love to play a character so badass he can take on Superman.
