10 Actors Perfect For The DCEU (And Who They Should Play)

7. Sophie Turner - Poison Ivy

Sophie Turner Poison Ivy
HBO/DC Comics

Although Sophie Turner played a superhero role quite recently and given the rather lacklustre reviews that the last two X-men films she appeared, this may put her off making a quick return back into a similar role.

But perhaps Turner could yet be up for playing the role of another distinctive red-head from DC Comics. Poison Ivy.

Now the last time we saw the character of Poison Ivy on the big screen was in the infamous George Clooney led Batman and Robin, which was not exactly the most FAITHFUL adaptation of one of the Batman’s signature villains. Poison Ivy is supposed to be a dark seductress, more attached to botanical life then she is to humanity, able to command monstrous plants and vines to ensnare and murder whoever she pleases.

Now aside from the obvious connotations about hair colour Sophie Turner could be a great fit for playing the role. We’ve seen her flicker between both the dark and the light in her time as Sansa, and to perhaps a less subtle extent as Jean Grey, and whilst the latter role certainly won’t be counted as a career-best performance, she certainly deserves a shot at another iconic comic book role.

Sam Ring hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
