4. Maisie Williams - Stephanie Brown/Batgirl

It would be simply impossible to overlook Maisie Williams as a possible addition to the DCEU, purely because of her performance as Arya Stark.

We have seen Maisie kick ass, take names, and sleuth around as Arya made her way to becoming one of the most deadly weapons in Westeros, and aside from the blood-shedding and bedding, she shares a somewhat similar arc to her character as Stephanie Brown.

Stephanie was an aspirant for the role of Robin, but Batman rejected her. Determined to prove her mentor wrong but follow her own path, Stephanie continued crime-fighting, and although a brief time spent being dead got in the way of things, Batman eventually came to accept her as a costumed crime-fighter in her own right.

If Maisie was to play the role, it would make for an interesting dynamic if Stephanie was introduced before that of the yet the unseen-on-screen character of Tim Drake, as she was originally conceived by Batman not as a replacement for Drake, but as a means to lure him back into his place at Batman’s side. To add further complication and drama, Stephanie and Tim later started a relationship in the comics, which has its ups and downs throughout their shared history and would also make for interesting viewing on the big screen.
