...Speaking of Doctor Who, the recently-departed Eleventh Doctor has thrown his name into the hat of contention for a part in the Bond franchise. Claiming that he wasn't attractive enough for the lead role, Matt Smith claimed that he'd love to be a baddie, and though there's a big precedent for English villains in Hollywood films, there's no reason why he wouldn't suit Bond himself. After all, he's charismatic and stylish, and he a maturity to his acting that suggests he's older than his thirty-year age. Doctor Who/Sherlock boss Steven Moffat has claimed though that neither Smith nor Benedict Cumberbatch would be right for the role, claiming that they're more cut out for interesting, complex characters. Maybe they could both play an insane, villainous pair of businessman intent on taking the Secret Service down?
