Inception felt like director Christopher Nolans Bond audition too. Someone, please, let him make one). Hardy is perhaps the best British actor of his generation, so theres no doubt he could make the character compelling. Going on his previous roles, Hardy could bring his trademark physicality for a continuation of Daniel Craigs more vicious Bond, but the advantage of bagging the chameleonic actor is that producers could fashion him into any kind of Bond they want him to be. Hardy has the archetypal 007 attributes superficially but its his level of commitment as an actor that should make him a serious consideration.
