This sort of actor misuse isn't exactly uncommon for the MonsterVerse, either, with the likes of Bryan Cranston and Sally Hawkins also being grossly wasted during their stints alongside the main event kaiju. You'd like to think that the Stranger Things star will demand a more compelling chunk of script to work with if she chooses to return to the role in the future, but Brown may be wise to just give this particular universe a miss going forward.
