10 Actors Who Weren't Able To Let Star Wars Go

3. Anthony Daniels

Anthony Daniels C3poCharacter & Films: C-3PO, in all of them - and rumoured for Episode VII. He also plays the humanoid Dannl Faytonni in both Attack of the Clones & Revenge of the Sith. Before Star Wars: Nothing, other than one episode of the TV series Centre Play. After Star Wars: Daniels voiced Legolas in Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings, which I covered in my article on John Hurt here. He has also made appearances on The Bill, Prime Suspect, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and the relaunched Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased). Did He Deserve Better?: No. Daniels owes his entire career to George Lucas, and he's been happily milking C3PO for all his worth since 1977. He's appeared in character for video games, the Clone Wars TV series, drug PSAs and even a Star Wars fan film. Long may he continue to do so. Look No Further: Legolas in The Lord of the Rings (1978). But he's no Orlando Bloom.
