10 Actors Who Almost Starred In 2017's Biggest Movies

Millie Bobby Brown has become a household name off the back of her brilliant turn in Stranger Things, in which she plays miserable psychic runaway Eleven. Brown is a fantastic actress capable of real depth, which is presumably the reason why she almost found herself cast as a lead role in one of 2017's biggest movies.

Yes, Brown was considered for the part of Laura Kinney, also known as X-23, who spends much of Logan on the run with an aging Wolverine. She even went into the studio to audition for Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold.

Eventually the part went to newcomer Dafne Keen, who did a stellar job in making the character feel raw and believable, despite the fact that Brown declared her Logan audition to be the best one she'd ever given (unlike her Stranger Things audition, apparently, which she has since claimed was absolutely terrible).

Would It Have Been Any Good?

Brown is a tremendous actor and so there's no doubt she would have given a fantastic performance. For some reason, though, Keen feels better suited to the part on account of her inherently scrappy nature.

There's a wildness to Keen that means you can't really imagine anybody else playing the part of X-23.
