Seth Rogen is one of the best comedic actors and writers of the 21st century. With his iconic laugh and lovable screen presence, Rogen has starred in Pineapple Express, 50/50, Paul, Sausage Party, The Interview, Knocked Up and dozens more. Seth shines in every film he is in, though that does not save him from playing the same character.

In almost every film Seth Rogen appears in, he plays the foul-mouthed, sarcastic comic relief who smokes too much weed and takes countless other drugs. His roles play right into Rogen's personality, as he is a naturally funny person who is a strong advocate for cannabis legalisation. However, he is trapped in a bed of his own making, as the majority of the roles he is typecast in have been written by himself.

The Exception - Steve Jobs

In the biopic of the late Apple co-founder, Rogen played Steve Wozniak, Steve Jobs' less publicised partner. In a brilliantly nuanced performance, Seth shocked many audiences in playing a genuinely different character to his usual work - and his role demonstrated how varied Seth Rogen's range as an actor is, even if these performances come around far too irregularly to break his typecasting.

If you have clicked on here, get ready to be bored. I'm just a 20 year old white male who has a (probably) unhealthy obsession with pop culture Film and TV. Handy in a trivia game but not much else. My parents were never murdered, I'm not avenging my dead wife. Just plain, old sat at a computer with a head full of knowledge I mostly don't use I was born and raised in the Black Country near Birmingham, England however am now living in Manchester, England after I moved here two years ago. I currently attend the University of Salford, studying Broadcast Journalism. That's it really. Told you there was nothing special. If you're really that desperate for something to do, follow me on socials. Yes, I do like that ego boost.
