Samuel L. Jackson is a tremendous actor who has starred in some of the biggest movies of all time, such as Pulp Fiction, The Avengers, Django Unchained and the Star Wars prequel films. He is an enigmatic actor who steals the screen in his every performance, but even a veteran of cinema can be stuck in a typecasting loop.

Playing up to his iconic Pulp Fiction catchphrase, Jackson predominantly plays the badass motherf***er. His no-nonsense approach in every role means he often plays the tough fighter in most of his roles, including his most iconic - films such as Quentin Tarantino's aforementioned 1994 picture, Snakes On A Plane, The Hitman's Bodyguard, etc.

Audiences never complain about Jackson's on-screen persona as he is often the best part of many movies, however his filmography does not truly reflect his range as an actor.

The Exception - Unbreakable

Samuel L Jackson's most diverse role comes through his role as villain Elijah Price, aka Mr Glass, in Unbreakable. Glass is a manipulative and deviously smart villain who suffers from brittle bones. Because of his fragility, Jackson couldn't bring his usual rough and tough character to the screen but delivered a brilliant performance none the less, in a role he'd later reprise for 2019's Glass.

If you have clicked on here, get ready to be bored. I'm just a 20 year old white male who has a (probably) unhealthy obsession with pop culture Film and TV. Handy in a trivia game but not much else. My parents were never murdered, I'm not avenging my dead wife. Just plain, old sat at a computer with a head full of knowledge I mostly don't use I was born and raised in the Black Country near Birmingham, England however am now living in Manchester, England after I moved here two years ago. I currently attend the University of Salford, studying Broadcast Journalism. That's it really. Told you there was nothing special. If you're really that desperate for something to do, follow me on socials. Yes, I do like that ego boost.
