Whether you like it or not, we are living in the age of the reboot/revival.

And one of the latest properties set to receive another outing comes in the form of the Teen Wolf TV series, with the latest slice of supernatural teen drama landing on screens in movie form this year.

However, one actor who wasn't along for the revival ride was none other than Stiles Stilinski himself Dylan O'Brien, with one of the leading stars of the show opting to leave that chapter of his career behind upon hearing about the call to head into feature territory with the series.

Classing it as a "difficult decision" and noting how "a lot went into it", the Maze Runner actor would admit that the entire project was thrown at him a little bit and his attempts to "figure it out" ultimately led to him realising that "it was left in a really good place for me and I still want to leave it there."

Despite not returning for the Paramount+ film revival and seemingly being happy to leave Stiles in the past, though, that didn't stop O'Brien wishing all involved well and claiming, "I’m going to watch it the first night it comes out."
