In the wake of strutting her stuff as Sex and the City's Samantha Jones for six seasons and a further two movies, Kim Cattrall decided enough was enough a few years back when approached about the concept of starring in yet another feature alongside the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and co.

But that third SATC outing being ultimately scrapped still couldn't stop the rest of the gang getting back together again for the And Just Like That... sequel series in 2021.

However, any hope of Cattrall one day arriving back in town still looks to be non-existent at this stage, with the Samantha star going on record on numerous occasions to confirm that her period as the outgoing icon is done.

Along with stating that "everything has to grow, or it dies", the way the group finished off the original series and tied up all the loose ends in the movies eventually left Kim feeling as though she was "done".

And with the star making her "feelings clear after the possible third movie", it came as little surprise to hear that she hadn't been approached about the TV reboot. But Cattrall was very much "ready" to leave Samantha behind and when poked about the potential of an AJLT Jones return one day, "That’s a no. It’s powerful to say no," was the star's decisive response.
