10 Actors Who Are Notoriously Hard To Work With

4. Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe has always come across as a real man's man; somewhere who would likely settle any difference of opinion with a physical fight, rather than in a courteous manner. Perhaps this is doing the New Zealander a huge disservice, but he certainly comes across that way. Over the years he has become notorious for his aggressive, demanding behaviour, and he will never hold back on telling someone what he really thinks of them. The 50-year-old threatened to kill Branko Lustig on the set of Gladiator, causing the frightened producer to want to quit the film. He also had numerous other tantrums throughout filming, including refusing to utter the famous line, "And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next", because he hated it. He was reported to have told director Ridley Scott:
"It was shit... but I'm the greatest actor in the world and I can make even shit sound good."
You're not Russell, but you keep telling yourself that if it makes you happy! His love for a bit of fisticuffs is well-known, as is his violent temper, and there must be times when he is about as difficult to work with as anyone in Hollywood.
