Reported to be a huge fan of the original movie, Jennifer Lawrence was originally slated to have a cameo appearance in the critically panned Dumb and Dumber To.

Rumours were that the scene was filmed but later cut due to Lawrence’s displeasure, but the teams of both Lawrence and directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly denied this. It was later explained away with a ‘we weren't able to do it’ from Bobby Farrelly concerning Lawrence’s busy schedule.

Despite only being a cameo, it wouldn’t be surprising if this cameo would’ve caused Lawrence to regret her decision anyway. It wouldn't have been a huge dampener on her career due to the short nature of the proposed appearance, but at least she managed to avoid this one on her resume.
