Former footballing "hardman" Vinnie Jones is no small man and he never needed any assistance in cutting a terrifying figure on the pitch before he retired and decided to (two-footed) tackle Hollywood.

One of his most notorious roles - which should have set him up for life, really - was as Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand, which most people only remember now for his awful delivery of "I'm the Juggernaut, b*tch!" He effectively conspired to take one of that film's most eye-catching new characters and turn him into a great big joke.

And to add insult to injury, Jones' body wasn't impressive enough to play the monstrous mutant (suggesting he was cast for his actual ability) and he was put in a heavy-duty latex muscle suit to make him look more imposing.
