10 Actors Who Clearly Knew Their Movie Sucked

6. Dev Patel In The Last Airbender

Dev Patel was one of the most promising young actors of his day, thanks to his breakout hit Slumdog Millionaire. Thankfully this piece of garbage didn't slow down his excellent career, but rest assured, that was not for a lack of trying.

This movie is reviled in a way that's normally reserved for films starring Rob Schneider, not just because of its association with the cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender - one of the greatest television achievements of all time. But also because on its own, it's also boring, drab, confused, and incredibly rushed.

Patel is a great actor though, so you can see him trying his damndest to make it work. While he was probably not the best choice for the brooding, tortured Prince Zuko (he's more of a Sokka in my opinion) the effort is all up on the screen. And he's definitely a better actor than Noah Ringer. Although in fairness, that isn't hard.
