10 Actors Who Clearly Knew Their Movie Sucked

To call the 50 Shades films problematic is to call Pennywise a bit of a weirdo. Between the pathologically inept misunderstanding of BDSM relationships and power dynamics within said relationships, as well as the just flat out bad character writing, these books and subsequent film series has rightfully become the laughing stock of the entire internet.

And no one knew how much of a stinker they were in more than the cast and crew. It's become something of a running gag that these movie look, act, and are generally presented as way better movies than they are, seeing as how they learned from Twilight's mistakes and actually got a director who can direct worth a damn.

Which, of course, brings us to Dakota Johnson, the very talented actress who played our ridiculously named leading lady, Anastasia Steele. If you know what to look for in her performance, you can clearly find a sort of self aware exasperation in how she portrays her character. Letting the audience know that she is all too aware of what she's saying and how idiotic it is.
