10 Actors Who Could Be The New James Bond

4. Henry Golding

Tom Hardy Legend
Warner Bros.

Why He Might: Were Henry Golding cast as 007, the British-Malaysian actor would be the first Asian performer to ever play James Bond.

He proved beyond any doubt in Crazy Rich Asians that he's charming as hell and looks fantastic in a suit, not to mention is capable of putting butts in seats where the box office is concerned, yet without being a major name in his own right.

Age-wise he's in the sweet spot at 34 years old, meaning he'd be in his mid-to-late 30s by the time shooting started, which is perfect.

Why He Might Not: Broccoli might ultimately desire an actor with a more demonstrable body of quality acting work - Golding's only been acting for three years and has just six roles to his name, few of which have stretched him dramatically.

The failure of his recent blockbuster vehicle Snake Eyes might also work against him, if Broccoli takes it as evidence that audiences don't necessarily buy Golding in an action-centric role.
