10 Actors Who Could Play Donald Trump In A Film Biopic
6. Bryan Cranston
Bryan Cranston, like so many others in Hollywood, threatened to move to Canada if Trump won the election. Well, Cranston could always commute to work in order to portray Trump, because even though he hates his new president he surprisingly said when being interviewed on NBC's Today programme that he would like to play him in the future
That's right: despite Cranston's left-wing views he admits that Trump is a fascinating person, and even described him as "Shakespearian" (which I'm not quite sure William Shakespeare would have necessarily appreciated). In the same interview on NBC he even treats us to a preview of the performance by impersonating Trump's trademark incorrect pronunciation of the letter 'H' in the word 'huge', which isn't half bad even if it could still benefit from a bit more practice, which would be no problem for a serious actor like Walter White.
With some impressive make-up and prosthetics, Cranston could easily be transformed into a Trump lookalike, especially as he is only 10 years Trump's younger. Cranston would likely say no to any films that are celebratory of Drumpf's achievements, but he does come across as a down-to-earth and pragmatic guy, so perhaps he would agree to play the President in-waiting in a film that dramatises the already dramatic election campaign without bias and show how the multi-billionaire managed to overcome all of the odds, including some very big controversies, not least the "Grab 'em by the p***y" fiasco. It's fair to assume being a multi-billionaire helps to overcome these discrepancies.
