10 Actors Who Could Play Indiana Jones In Reboot

1. Karl Urban

If there's a man to base your re-booted Indiana Jones franchise on it should be none other than Karl Urban. The man not only resembles Harrison Ford but he happens to have the look of a man destined to take over the role. It could even be argued that he should play Han Solo if there ever is to be a "solo" film about that character. Urban has recently been best known for his role in the Star Trek franchise and his suburb job on the new series Almost Human. Urban is also no stranger to other big franchises such as the Lord of the Rings and the Riddick saga. Urban meets the age criteria and is ripe to take on something that he can become iconic for. Although he's been a part of quite a few classic films and franchises, he hasn't had the opportunity to be the stand out star that he has the potential for with maybe the exception being that of Judge Dredd. His most recent work on Almost Human has proven without the shadow of a doubt that Urban can be a leading man and that he deserves it. He has all of the qualities that Ford did and could pull off the role of Indiana Jones. Possible Storyline: At this point, the sky is the limit for Urban in the role. If it's a true reboot, fans could see Indy struggling against empires or off in a more primitive part of the world much the same way that fans were first introduced to the character. The beauty of the character is that you can insert him into any kind of situation or environment and enjoy the ride. The episodic quality that makes up the Indiana Jones franchise is what truly makes it unique and as long as the studios keep it that way, there's no denying that this franchise will live on for years to come.
