If the Indy franchise is going to go the route of a complete re-boot and the studio is looking to start fresh, one of the options could be turning the clock back prior to the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and casting a younger actor. Nicholas Hoult would be an excellent choice in establishing a young lead that could carry the franchise forward into the foreseeable future. What could be even more interesting is that fans could see the American James Bond portrayed by an British native. It's easy to forget that underneath the leather jacket is an esteemed doctor of archeology and Hoult has proven that he can take on the brainer roles as he has done with his portrayal of Hank McCoy, also known as Beast, in the recently "re-booted" X-Men franchise. He was also that guy in the movie Warm Bodie,s which to the surprise of many has established a small cult following and was another film that Hoult did a good job in. Possible Storyline: The young Indiana Jones TV series was short-lived and aired in the early 1990s. It took the time to introduce audiences to a youthful Indy and the early adventures that he experienced from the time he was a small child to a young adult in his 20s. A film involving Hoult could take place after the events of World War I in the early 1920s as an undeveloped Jones works on his college studies. Indy could study under the tutelage of his mentor Abner Ravenwood while exploring Old Russian mysticism just after the fall of the Romanov dynasty and striking up a romance with his future wife Marion, his mentor's daughter.
