It's only a matter of time before Armie Hammer plays a superhero. He was cast as Batman in George Miller's Justice League movie that never happened and was recently linked with the role of Green Lantern in the DCEU.

If Warner Bros don't fancy him as Hal Jordan or Kyle Rayner, Hammer would make a fine Superman should the studio need one in the next few years.

The Lone Ranger and Man from U.N.C.L.E star clearly has a lot of love for DC Comics properties, hence why he continues to pursue these roles, and a passion for the source material is never a bad thing.

With his chiselled good looks, he'd knock Superman out of the park and his Clark Kent would certainly be interesting. Casting an actor like Hammer would give the world a more assertive version of the Daily Planet journalist, a refreshing change from the bumbling geek of the older movies.
