10 Actors Who Could Play The Next James Bond

2. Callum Turner

Callum Turner might not be a name you'd instantly link to playing the next 007 spy but speculation has been rife that the actor himself had to comment.

While he comically attributed the buzzing rumour as being due to his mother's enthusiastic support, he did make an interesting move to compliment producer Barbara Broccoli who, along with her half-brother Michael G. Wilson, controls the James Bond franchise. She's literally the person who helped cast Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. So if Turner wants the role, he's certainly making the right moves.

The 34-year-old actor has carved out an interesting rise from period dramas such as War & Peace to then stepping into the world of the Fantastic Beasts franchise as Theseus Scamander. Turner has showcased his charming and romantic chops too having had roles in successful romantic dramas and comedies, most notably the 2017 film The Only Living Boy in New York.

While Turner might feel very much at home as the well-spoken spy in a tux, he might be less at home jumping over walls and chasing down bad guys. His roles have more often than not been held to dramas, as opposed to action flicks, but those skills are still invaluable for any Bond.
