10 Actors Who Could Replace Ezra Miller As The Flash
5. Austin Butler
Austin Butler started his career in live-action Nickelodeon and Disney Channel shows. As he has matured, so have his roles. Austin's career started when a representative from a background acting management company approached him at the Orange County fair in 2004. During the first few years, Butler cut a swath through the Disney Channel line-up. He appeared on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Hannah Montana, iCarly and Zoey 101 among others.
Butler got his first taste of the superhero world when he appeared as club DJ/assassin Chase in three episodes of Arrow. Since then, the actor's career has expanded into a much more interesting body of work. He appeared with Bill Murray and Adam Driver in the Jim Jarmusch comedy/horror gem The Dead Don't Die, and he then found himself a long way from The Disney Channel when he portrayed Manson family member Tex Watson in Quentin Tarantino's classic Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood.
Butler's star is still only growing. He will soon appear as the titular character in Elvis (Presley, not Costello) and will also be in the sequel to 2021's Dune. When Ezra Miller was cast as Flash, he also was on his way up. It very well could be Austin Butler he bumps into on his way back down.
