6. Jonah Hauer-King
This British actor is set to make his big break in 2023 as Prince Eric in the live-action version of The Little Mermaid. Disney may have some thoughts regarding their new leading man jumping over to work with Warner Bros., but Hauer-King would be a solid long shot for the role of Barry Allen.
Jonah has only been on the scene since 2014, and his credits included only film shorts until he was cast in Danny Huston's 2017 British drama, The Last Photograph. Eight feature films, two BBC mini-series, a TV movie and a recurring show role later, Hauer-King is set to truly make his name when The Little Mermaid releases. At that point, the 26-year-old would be ripe for the casting of the Sultan of the Speed.
Hot off the heels of a major Disney property, Warner Bros. could scour the gild off of that particular lily by giving Hauer-King a crack at the red and yellow. He may have a little less experience than others on this list, but he carries himself with both a boyish charm and dramatic intensity that could make him a real contender.
