Although most actors tend to make their breakthroughs before the age of 30, theres still room for the odd late bloomer. If you need proof, look no further than Samuel L. Jackson, who didnt show up on our radars until he was 40 but became a household name thanks to his performances in Pulp Fiction, Die Hard: With a Vengeance and the Star Wars prequels. His role as Nick Fury only cemented Jacksons status as Hollywood royalty, but after appearing in six Marvel movies as well as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and with Age of Ultron just around the corner, he is moving towards the end of his nine-picture deal with the studio. It is certainly not out of the question that the actor will negotiate further appearances, but its also entirely possible that Marvel will seek new blood before long. Step forward, Denzel Washington. The two-time Oscar winner is no spring chicken, but thats no impediment to playing the elder statesman of the Avengers gang. Washington has the action credentials and steely authority to seamlessly take the reins, and although he might prove on the expensive side, his venerable status and box office appeal is worth the outlay.
I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
