5. Mickey Rourke

Mickey Rourke's excellent comeback in The Wrestler generated a lot of excitement, and so it's easy to see why fans were over the moon when Marvel revealed that he had been chosen as the lead villain in Iron Man 2. Unfortunately, there was a lot wrong with that movie as it scrambled to set up The Avengers, and Rourke's performance ended up being one of its biggest issues.
