10 Actors Who Felt Totally Out Of Place In Famous Movies

3. Mike Myers - Inglourious Basterds

Mike Myers Although I don't think this was really a bad inclusion on Tarantino's part in the traditional sense, I wouldn't argue against the strange and distracting nature of this Mike Myers cameo in the director's war opus Inglourious Basterds. Quite simply: why is Mike Myers playing this character? You can almost imagine Tarantino casting the actor here purely so that future film geeks can look back at it in a hundred years and ponder the director's eclectic and varied tastes. As Ed Fenich, a British WWII General, Myers is the one who gives Michael Fassbender's Archie Hicox the mission to assassinate Hitler, setting in a motion of an explosive series events that will take us to the end of the movie. And although Myers is fine as Fenich, doing a good enough imitation of various interchangeable characters from a variety of WWII movies, one just can't escape the feeling that Myers doesn't meld at all with the rest of the cast.
