And even with Blessed appearing to have the time of his life roaring and shaking his gums throughout his vocal and physical performance as the cartoonish gungan leader, the portrayal was largely mocked and criticised due to its hammy nature and digital effects that haven't aged as well as George Lucas would've liked.
