10 Actors Who Had No Idea What Was Coming Next

Unlike the rest of the entries on this list, the actors involved in this entry generally knew what they were signing up for from the minute they agreed to appear in the consistently unpredictable and highly improvised Blair Witch Project. But that still doesn't mean they had much of an inkling as to exactly what was waiting for them around the corner.

After being unleashed into Seneca Creek State Park, equipped with nothing but video cameras and their improvisation skills for the most part, actors Joshua Leonard, Heather Donahue, and Michael C. Williams were terrorised for the better part of eight days by directors Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez.

Sporadically performing the numerous unsettling sounds heard throughout the movie at various points, suddenly shaking the actors' tent in the middle of the night, and even going out of their way to abruptly hit play on a track containing the sound of children playing outside as the trio were attempting to snooze, the directors did not hold back when it came to finding ways to genuinely startle their chosen stars.

Needless to say, they weren't the only ones cacking their pants by the time this horror classic first touched down in cinemas.
