9. Melissa Leo - Measure Of Revenge & Alone Together
Though not a household name, Melissa Leo is an extremely accomplished actor with plenty of awards to her name.
She won an Emmy for her appearance in the sitcom Louie and scored tonnes of gongs for her role in The Fighter, including the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
Sadly, none of those past accolades helped her make good choices in 2022.
In March 2022, Leo appeared in Measure of Revenge, which was known as Leave Not One Alive in the UK for some reason. Leo is the mother of a murdered son, leading her own investigation into the death. She teams up with her kid's drug dealer, played by Bella Thorne.
On paper, this sounds like it's got legs. However, on a different piece of paper, this film has just 12%. That piece of paper belongs to Rotten Tomatoes.
Then came Alone Together, which scored more than twice as much on the site... it still only got 31%, but still!
Directed by and starring Katie Holmes, the film is about two strangers stuck in an Airbnb during the pandemic.
