2. Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper has done quite well for himself this past decade. Going into 2010, he was best known for his work in The Hangover films. By 2020, he was an eight time Oscar nominee, delivering heartbreaking performances in so, so many films, including Silver Linings Playbook, American Sniper, and even Avengers: Endgame.
Cooper's most acclaimed performance to date comes from 2018's A Star is Born, in which he plays alcoholic country star Jackson Maine. Cooper also used the film as his debut as both a writer and director.
Though the story has been told three times before, Cooper's style made it feel like audiences were watching something brand new. Three of Cooper's Oscar nominations came from this film alone. He's set to write, direct, and star in a biopic of legendary composer Leonard Bernstein, and hopefully many more projects thereafter.
