10 Actors Who Have Become Parodies Of Themselves

1. Adam Sandler

adamsandlerKnown For: Playing a goofball in a variety of comedies, most famously Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Big Daddy and so on... The Parody: Recent years have seen Sandler performing in an increasingly awful array of comedies including I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Grown Ups "franchise", Just Go With It and That's My Boy. However, there's one movie that made it clear above all others that the man has become a parody of himself, and that's 2011's horrendous Jack and Jill, in which he plays a man and his own sister, donning drag to play both parts. A fake trailer for the film appeared in South Park shortly after the real trailer first aired, causing many viewers to simply assume that it wasn't a real movie but instead just a silly parody of the type of daft films Sandler likes to make. That many were shocked to find out it was real, then, makes it clear that the man has become a walking parody of himself, and not in the good way. Which actor self-parody do you find the funniest, or most tragic? Let us know in the comments below?
