Who wouldn't want to rock up to set and shake their artificial wavy locks to the sound of bangers like "Don't Stop Believing" and "I Want To Know What Love Is" alongside Hollywood titans like Tom Cruise and Catherine Zeta-Jones?

So, you can hardly blame Alec Baldwin for initially wanting to get in on the Rock of Ages action when the time came to commit the rock-heavy jukebox musical to the big screen in 2012, with the Academy Award nominated talent eventually appearing as Dennis Dupree in the finished article.

However, long before the flick was ultimately panned by critics the world over and stuttered at the box office, Baldwin could already sense he'd made a big blunder in agreeing to put his name to this particular collection of big screen anthems.

Speaking at an American Magazine Media Conference not too long after the flick arrived on the scene, Baldwin would admit:

“It was a complete disaster... A week in you go, ‘Oh God, what have I done?’”

But it still gifted us the visual of a tattooed, topless Cruise belting out "Dead or Alive" to the masses. So, it wasn't all bad, eh?
