Berry played a struggling mother in the film, and managed to layer her performance to make it both real and sexy. In the wake of her win, it felt as though a magnificent body of work was set to follow. And then... disaster stuck. Die Another Die marked the initial stage in the death of Halle Berry's career; as one of the worst Bond movies ever produced, even former 007 Roger Moore said: "I thought it just went too far - and that€™s from me, the first Bond in space!"
