10 Actors Who Need Saving From Bad Movie Choices
1. Stephen Dorff
Stephen Dorff showed spotlight-stealing potential when he served as the villain in 1998's Blade, but almost two decades later, he's yet to land that game-changing leading role that would fire him into the stratosphere.
The talent he showed in the Wesley Snipes vampire fest was later channelled in the likes of Public Enemies and Somewhere, although the latter failed to garner much mainstream attention through no fault of Dorff's.
The actor's biggest misstep is pursuing easy work while waiting for his big break, with recent outings such as Jackals, Wheeler and American Hero serving only to water down his CV.
Breakthroughs can come late on in an actor's career - just look at what The Wrestler did for Mickey Rourke - but Dorff is less likely to score one if continues to be a magnet for straight-to-video trash.
