10 Actors Who Really Don't Belong In Upcoming Movies

8. Orlando Bloom - Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

In the first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Orlando Bloom played a "hero" so inherently bland and uninteresting that you'd often find yourself drifting off to sleep whenever he came on-screen. Will Turner essentially served as the epitome of the "boring" lead man - a character destined to be overshadowed by Johnny Depp in every single scene. At the end of the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie, though, the writers decided to sort of kill off Will Turner, almost as if to apologise to audiences for having him involved with the franchise in the first place (and for so long). He disappeared and that was that; Depp's far more entertaining pirate character, Jack Sparrow, was free to do as he pleased in the next installment, and Orlando Bloom was wonderfully absent from the fourth movie. Hooray! But now something terrible has happened: the filmmakers behind the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean 5 recently announced that Orlando Bloom will be returning to the series. "Why?" you ask. "Couldn't they have just got a plank of wood with a face painted on it instead?" They should have: his character is about as interesting as a broom handle. To think, he only went away for one film and now he's back to bore us all to death.
