10 Actors Who Should Play Ben Affleck’s Batman Villains

1. Simon Baker As Hush (Tommy Elliot)

Other contenders: Jude Law, Michael C. Hall, Viggo Mortensen Hush, Tommy Elliot, was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne€™s. His parents, who were also wealthy, were friends of the Wayne's. Tommy, however, was a malicious child. He planned his parents€™ deaths to acquire their wealth. His father died but his plan failed when Thomas Wayne (Bruce€™s father) performed surgery and saved his mother€™s life. Subsequently, Elliot became quite resentful of Bruce. Aware of Bruce Wayne's secret identity, and assuming the identity of bandage-faced criminal mastermind Hush, he sets out to destroy the Caped Crusader. In Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee€™s blockbuster comic book run €œHush€ the titular character formulates a plot to destroy Batman that involves almost his entire rogue€™s gallery and even some former and current Bat allies (this includes a Batman/Superman fight). Simon Baker is probably best known for his lead role in the CBS television series The Mentalist as Patrick Jane and as Nicholas Fall in in The Guardian. However, now might be the time for Baker to spread his cinematic wings. He has proven his diversity over the years with films from Land of the Dead to The Devil Wears Prada. Overall, Baker would be an interesting choice to bring to life such an important character in the Batman mythos. And we€™d reckon he€™d be up to the challenge.
